Arash Rahi

Outside of his thriving practice in obstetrics and urogynecology, Dr. Arash Rahi remains involved in his local community and engages in a variety of outdoor pursuits. As a volunteer with the Vigilant Great Neck Fire Department since 2008, Dr. Arash Rahi ensures the safety of his fellow citizens. Dr. Rahi also belongs to the Miracle Mile HOG (Harley Owners Group), a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who frequently hold meetings and events. He enjoys the outdoors whenever possible, whether through hiking, sailing, camping, or biking.

A passionate reader, Dr. Rahi favors the works of Arthur Miller. His favorite books also include Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything, by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner, and Traffic: Why We Drive the Way We Do (and What It Says about Us), by Tom Vanderbilt.

Dr. Arash Rahi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, Math, and French from NYU. In addition, he possesses a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Science in Clinical Research and Translational Medicine from the NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Rahi obtained post-doctoral training through an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the NYU School of Medicine.

Today, Dr. Rahi serves as an Attending Physician at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. In this capacity, he employs his expertise in female reproductive health. Committed to upholding the highest standards of clinical conduct, Dr. Rahi maintains affiliations with the American Urogynecologic Society and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Female Gynecologists.

Dr. Rahi was recently awarded the 2010 Patient Choice Award as well as the 2010 Compassionate Doctor Award.
